Introducing FE Teacher Educators @FEteacherEd

A new community hosted by teacher educators: Joyce I-Hui Chen and Naomi Knott

FE Teacher Educators with a red cirular arrowJoyce I-Hui Chen and Naomi Knott are teacher educators working at different Further Education colleges in England brought together via the #APConnect programme run by Touch Consulting for the Education and Training Foundation. They have created @FETeacherEd, a collaborative and supportive space, out of a desire to connect with others working in a similar field to share the nuances of the beginning teacher classroom.  Having connected with each other via Twitter and LinkedIn and sharing stories, they felt that perhaps others like them could benefit from a Teacher Education community of practice (CoP).

As Naomi and Joyce work through the feedback from the launch, they have put out a call for more people to help convene the Twitter, networking and LinkedIn spaces. If you think you would like to volunteer some time to become a network convener, please either get in touch with them on linked in or Twitter or email FETeacherEd@gmail.com.

There will be more exciting announcements coming over the next month.  Follow the Twitter and LinkedIn handles to keep up to date with all @FETeacherEd developments.
