ESOL Managers’ Network
Facilitated by @NATECLA
NATECLA is pleased to announce that it is starting a new networking opportunity for ESOL managers in the UK. Two new initiatives have been set up that will give valuable opportunities for those managing ESOL provision the chance to network, share good practice and call out for help and ideas. From this Autumn term there will be a network forum group that will meet termly. The meeting will see guest speakers and opportunities for managers to discuss topics that our important to them. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday 19th October at 2-3.30pm. You can book your place here: https://www.natecla.org.uk/event/1907/New-ESOL-Managers-Network.
Secondly, a WhatsApp group has been created where ESOL managers can continue their networking outside of the meetings. A similar WhatsApp group has been running for the past year for English and maths managers and has been hugely successful. Queries or calls for support can be posted or simply share news relevant to the sector. For anyone interested in joining the WhatsApp group, please contact email@example.com.
Rachel Öner is currently co-chair of NATECLA. She also plays an active role in the East of England branch (for which she has most recently stepped down as Chair).
